Where to Sell Pokémon Cards in Ireland

Where to Sell Pokémon Cards in Ireland

Once you've decided to sell, the next question is where. Ireland doesn't have the same density of card shops as the UK or US, so the options look a little different here. Here's how they actually compare.

Facebook groups & Marketplace

Free to list, and you can reach Irish buyers directly, but you're doing your own pricing research, fielding lowball offers, arranging meetups or postage yourself, and taking on the risk of a bad-faith buyer with no real protection.

eBay

Wider audience and buyer protection, but final value fees eat into what you actually take home, and photographing, listing, and posting each card individually takes real time. Worth it for a handful of chase cards, painful for a whole collection.

Local game stores

Instant and in person, which is genuinely convenient, but most stores are buying to resell at a markup, so offers tend to sit well under market value, and not every store buys Pokémon specifically.

Card shows

Good for face-to-face deals and a feel for current prices, but they're occasional, not always local, and you're negotiating card-by-card on the day.

A dedicated buyer

This is where PW Cards sits: we price to the Cardmarket condition standard (the same scale we sell by, so there's no hidden markdown logic), we buy singles, graded slabs, and full bulk collections with no minimum value or quantity, and you get an email quote within a few days. We collect in person in Dublin, and you can post your cards to us from anywhere else in the country.

Start your list here: search your cards, add condition and quantity, and submit. Takes a few minutes.
